How sign-in works and what to do when login is confusing.

Most apps use central authentication. That means you may click an app and be redirected to the shared sign-in page before returning to the app.

Jellyfin: https://jellyfin.shane.app
Open WebUI: https://open-webui.shane.app
Headscale: https://headscale.shane.app if you were told to use it
Request portal: https://request.shane.app

Choose the central sign-in method when available unless the app documentation explicitly says otherwise.

Check these first:

you are using the correct username,
your password was entered correctly,
your browser is not holding on to an old private session,
and you were actually granted access to that app.
