Change Your Password
Where to change your password and what to expect from the security flow.
Change your password through the central account portal at https://auth.shane.app/settings/security, not inside individual applications.
Use the same central account for the main apps. Password changes should not normally happen inside Jellyfin, Open WebUI, pgAdmin, or the arr stack.
Important Notes
- Some actions may require an elevated session.
- Multi-factor authentication may be required again for sensitive account changes.
- Too many rapid retries can trigger temporary rate limiting.
If You Are Stuck
- wait a few minutes if you hit a rate limit,
- try again in a normal browser session,
- and contact the administrator if you are still blocked.
