First steps for using the homelab applications and central account.

If you are new to this environment, start with the account you were given and use that same identity everywhere it is supported.

What To Expect

• Many apps will send you to the central sign-in page.
• Some apps are only available to specific groups.
• Password changes are handled centrally, not inside each app.

Best Practices

• Use the same central username everywhere.
• Do not create extra local accounts unless you were explicitly told to.
• If an app says you do not have access, ask for the correct group rather than trying a different password.
